On the Road
Davine Creations Studio is a family operation, and many of our summers have consisted of traveling art shows. We have participated in over 30 art events in 6 Western states over a period of 7 years. To move a mass amount of sculpture, we now have a Suburban pulling a converted horse trailer that we drive across the West.
Our sculpture is derived from the love of the West; when we drive along the open landscapes to various shows, the natural beauty reminds us of our connections to the earth.
Although it requires a lot of work, the benefits of the art festivals and Western events are numerous. On the road, we meet people from many different walks of life. For example, not only are there jewelers, painters, and sculptors, but also rope makers, blanket weavers, horse breeders and trainers, ranchers, Western poets, art collectors, gallery owners and indigenous artists.
